Urban-chic "Dogpatch Studios" wedding

Heidi+Andy’s modern aesthetics lead them to choose this super cool city venue for their wedding on May 26th. The ceremony took place on the 3rd floor atrium, with great natural lighting thanks to the glass ceiling and amazing city skyscapes!

Classic San Francisco City Hall Wedding sneak peek

High school sweethearts, Karli and Sean got married at San Francisco's City Hall on August 11th. Their black & white themed wedding was lots of fun; full of young and vibrant people. The ceremony was harmonized with beautiful melodies by family friend Nicholas who played the piano.

Guests were invited to the second floor for cocktails before heading back to the main floor where dinner was served. Overall it was a successful night and the party ended with sweet treats to take home as favors.

Karli and sister Kristi enjoyed putting this Candy Bar together, featuring the family's favorite candy!

Please stay tuned for professional photos by Geoff White Photography, these are just some Clever Girl snap shots.

My Hometown: Mendocino, CA

News flash:
Mendocino Farmhouse style shoot just got posted on Green Wedding Shoes!! ...  click here!

Main Street - Mendocino, CA

When I say I grew up in the small town of Mendocino, most people look at me with doubtful eyes and wonder if it is true...believe me, kids do grow up here! I moved here when I was 8 and had the best carefree upbringing a country girl could wish for; building forts in the trees, collecting sea glass on the beach and falling asleep to the frogs croaking in our pond.  I have visited my parents over the years and thought someday I will return to live the good life again.  Well, the time has come....I'm heading home to help my Mom with the B&B and Farmhouse weddings and going to run Clever Girl from the North Coast.  I will of course still do events where ever my clients need me; most of which are in the wine country anyway, but I will no longer be a city mouse / hooray!!  Stay tune for an amazing style shoot by Edyta Szyszlo (photographer featured here) + me...it is pretty darn cute & features some local folks.....check in often to see when the shoot will post.

Meanwhile, come visit me or my Mom or both, the chickens, have a glass of wine in the meadow and watch our practically tame deer eat grass 5 feet away from your toes...not kidding!     -your clever girl, Karin

Farmhouse eggs...gotta try them.

Two baby chicks....too sweet for words!

My Mom, Margie,  is famous for her fried chicken dinners - yum yum!
